Slack is not the community forum! Empty Slack is not the community forum!

Recently I have noticed confusion among some members of IFES concerning the community forum and our new communication system, Slack. Let me clear this up... Slack and the IFES Community Forum are not the same!

Slack is our discussion platform. It's as simple as that.

And the community forum is a knowledge base and information center. If you have a question or you want to advertise your hosted event, make a topic on the community forum. And if you want more information about an IFES Official Weekly Event, check the forum as well as the forum calendar.
